HKU Information Day for Undergraduate Admissions 2026 Nurturing Future Talent to Shape a More Sustainable World with AI

The University of Hong Kong (HKU) is organising the Information Day for Undergraduate Admissions 2026 (IDAY), scheduled for October 24, 2026, on campus. This annual event welcomes all members of the public, including both JUPAS and non-JUPAS applicants, offering prospective students and their families a comprehensive overview of HKU’s diverse undergraduate programmes, admissions requirements, and campus life. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in various admissions talks, programme information sessions, facility tours, and interactive activities.

Shaping a More Sustainable World with AI

Building on HKU’s strong track record in fostering innovation and academic excellence, this year’s IDAY theme is “Shape a More Sustainable World with AI.” The event will showcase how artificial intelligence is transforming a wide range of disciplines, not only in computing and engineering but also across fields such as arts, humanities, business, medicine, law, and science. Through a series of activities organised by HKU’s faculties and schools, visitors will discover how HKU’s forward-thinking programmes equip students with essential AI literacy, interdisciplinary skills, and practical experience to contribute to building a sustainable future with AI-driven solutions.
